Rate: £28.00 per hour (umbrella)
Location: West London (Hybrid working)
Contract: Ongoing temporary contract

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Housing Partner to join our team in West London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced housing professional to deliver high-quality tenancy management services, support customers throughout their tenancy journey, and contribute to thriving, well-managed neighbourhoods.

Role Purpose As a Housing Partner, you will provide a proactive, face-to-face tenancy management service, building strong relationships with residents across your patch. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring tenancies are well managed, properties are maintained to a high standard, and customers receive the right support at key stages of their tenancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a customer-focused tenancy management service, building positive relationships with new and existing residents.
  • Support residents at key tenancy stages — viewings, sign-ups, tenancy audits, and end-of-tenancy visits.
  • Manage tenancy-related matters such as succession, assignment, and mutual exchanges, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
  • Assist the Housing Project Lead with letting new build properties and embedding new neighbourhoods.
  • Take appropriate enforcement action where tenancy breaches occur, including legal proceedings for issues such as fraud, nuisance, and abandonment.
  • Support colleagues to gain access for essential health and safety checks and compliance-related services.
  • Conduct property inspections and tenancy audits, ensuring homes are safe, suitable, and meet standards; agree action plans where improvements are needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in tenancy management or housing officer roles within a local authority or housing association.
  • Strong understanding of housing legislation, tenancy law, and enforcement processes.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and work independently in a hybrid environment.
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: £28 per hour (umbrella)
  • Hybrid working – office and patch-based flexibility
  • Opportunity to play a key role in improving housing services and customer satisfaction
  • Supportive, collaborative working culture
