Job Description
A vibrant Birmingham secondary school is looking for a committed Science Teacher to join them from January 2026. This is a great role for someone who enjoys delivering engaging, practical science and can hit the ground running in a supportive, well-resourced department.

- Daily Rate: £175–£250 (dependent on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, long-term supply
The Role
You’ll plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, incorporating Triple Science where required. You’ll take responsibility for assessment, behaviour management and maintaining strong classroom routines. The department has modern labs, capable technicians and well-established schemes of work, giving you everything you need to deliver consistently strong lessons.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a confident, motivated teacher who can quickly build rapport with pupils and contribute positively to the wider school culture. You should bring strong curriculum knowledge, good behaviour management and a willingness to support intervention sessions where needed. Both experienced teachers and ECTs with solid placement feedback are encouraged to apply.
