The Role
You’ll work closely with KS1 pupils, helping to boost literacy and numeracy through targeted interventions and classroom support. You’ll deliver structured phonics sessions, reading groups, and basic maths catch-up work—tailored to pupils who need that extra nudge to stay on track.
 
Expect to support learning both in and out of class, help monitor progress, and work closely with teachers and SEN staff.
 
The Candidate
You’ll need a degree and the confidence to engage young children in learning. Any experience working in education, childcare, or with young learners is a bonus. Patience, energy and a willingness to learn are essential—you’ll get training and mentoring along the way.
