Job Description
Are you a caring and adaptable Special Needs Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and nurturing school environment? This welcoming complex needs school in Birmingham is seeking a Special Needs Teacher to join their dedicated team, teaching pupils with a range of complex learning, communication and sensory needs.

As a Special Needs Teacher, you will work with small groups of pupils, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, ensuring every child receives a personalised and engaging learning experience. This role requires a QTS Teacher with previous SEN teaching experience.
Job role:
- Teaching a small class of pupils with complex needs, adapting lessons to meet individual targets.
- Creating a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants to deliver tailored support.
- Using creative and multi-sensory approaches to engage all learners.
- Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues and external professionals.
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and communication development.
- A warm and supportive team who work closely to provide the best for children.
