Occupational Therapist – Islington
Location: Islington Council (Hybrid – office/borough presence required)
Pay: £32.02 per hour (Umbrella rate)
Contract: Full-time Locum

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Islington Council for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their multi-disciplinary team. You’ll be working alongside Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Physiotherapists to deliver high-quality health and social care services to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care coordinate a caseload of people with varied and often complex needs.
• Work in partnership with service users, carers, and families to promote independence and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with other professionals to ensure effective, joined-up support.
• At higher grades, provide guidance and support to less experienced OTs on complex cases, as directed by the Team Manager.
• Take a lead role in coordinating care, pulling in the expertise of other professionals where needed.

Requirements:

• HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in social care or health-based OT roles.
• Strong assessment, care planning, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and work effectively within a team.
