Job Description
This role is responsible for ensuring the Tactical and Legacy cleaning programmes include the correct work, with appropriate frequency and duration.
It involves owning the Legacy programme content, working closely with field teams to ensure accuracy, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain the quality of the Tactical cleaning pack. Building strong relationships with internal teams (such as SDMs, EDMs, and Planned Maintenance) as well as external contractors is key.
The role also supports wider team goals across Planned Cleaning and Blockage Hotspot programmes, while driving continuous improvement to streamline processes and deliver long-term efficiencies.
What will you be doing as a Planned Maintenance Optimisation Analyst-Technical
- Review the Legacy and Tactical cleaning packs to ensure that the correct work is completed and provide alternative solutions.
- Review current Legacy processes and create a framework that can be used to report programme performance, identify trends in good and poor performance and share best practices. Develop solutions to address poor performance and ensure that the processes support excellent delivery of the programme.
- Work with the Operations Data – Capacity and Insights team to ensure that the Tactical programme has the correct work contained within it.
- Support the Planned Maintenance team members where required to deliver the planned cleaning programmes.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports to the Performance Manager Maintenance and Data Quality and other senior Managers as required.
- Ensure that all people and HR processes are adhered to and support the Team to adhere to the same processes, also ensuring that regular performance and personal development meetings are held.
- Excellent Waste Network Technical Knowledge.
- Experience of managing programmes of work.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, reasoning and negotiating skills.
- Good data analysis skills with high levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Offering a salary up to £49,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
- 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
