Financial Accountant - Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic, international environment, contributing to core financial operations and reporting across multiple EMEA regions.
 
The role:
The successful candidate will manage daily treasury operations and support the preparation of statutory accounts across multiple EMEA regions. This role demands solid technical expertise in international accounting standards, a sharp eye for detail, and confidence working within complex, multi-jurisdictional reporting frameworks.
 
Your responsibilities as the Financial Accountant will include:

• Contribute to daily treasury operations, including cash management, fund transfers, and currency transactions across multiple entities.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and support external audits across various EMEA jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with global finance teams and external stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide accurate reconciliations, analysis, and reporting to support financial decision-making and compliance.

The ideal candidate for Financial Accountant will have/be:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g. FRS 102, IFRS, and ideally US GAAP).
• High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to complex financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in cash and treasury management.

 
This role is predominately home-based, with a few days per month required to attend the Birmingham based office.
