Production Planner

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Basingstoke based manufacturing business who are seeking a Production Planner to join their established friendly team. The opportunity would suit a motivated individual who is looking for a role they can put their own stamp on!

Working closely with the supply chain, sales and production teams, the position will be responsible for a diverse range of duties. These include but are not limited to:

• Managing and the control of purchasing activities.
• Utilise, maintain and analyse data on the MRP system.
• Stock level management and reporting.
• Demand and sales forecasting.
• Maintaining supplier relationships.
• Generating purchase orders.
• Overseeing the production of customer orders.

 
The ideal candidate will have proven experience gained within a manufacturing/ production background coupled with knowledge of MRP systems. It is essential to have excellent systems/ analysis skills as well as being a good communicator who is able to manage and build strong internal and external relationships. You must also have a high level of commercial acumen and self motivation.
