Transport Manager

Pertemps is currently recruiting for a highly experienced and self-motivated Transport Manager for a 6 month contract for our Haulage client based in both Milton Keynes and Oxford. 
 
Salary: £45,000
Contract: 6 months fixed term
Hours: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm

 
Duties:

• Ensure full compliance with DVSA regulations, operator licensing conditions, driver hours and tachograph rules, and all relevant transport legislation.
• Manage all aspects of fleet maintenance, including inspections, servicing, MOT's and defect reporting
• Overseeing training, performance monitoring and monitoring fuel usage,
  Maintain accurate transport records, including vehicle files, driver logs, maintenance schedules and incident reports.

Requirements:

• You must have a valid full CPC.
• Previous Transport Management experience
• Deep understanding of UK transport regulations—including driver hours and tachograph requirements.
• Confident user of transport management systems, Microsoft Office, and strong overall IT proficiency
