Job Description

Customer Service Advisor
Are you someone who thrives on helping others and enjoys being the go-to person for solving problems? Our client is on the lookout for a Customer Service Advisor to join their friendly and dynamic team.

This role could quickly turn into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate!
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
12.50 per hour

What you’ll be doing:
  • Be the first point of contact for customers via email, offering friendly, helpful support and handling a variety of routine and specialist enquiries with confidence.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve customer issues swiftly and smoothly.
  • Represent the company positively by creating great experiences for customers, colleagues, and suppliers alike.
  • Know when to escalate issues to the Team Manager or Senior Advisor, ensuring customers always get the best service.
  • Stay on top of your workload by working within service level agreements (SLAs) and following all processes accurately.
  • Keep detailed, accurate notes and manage follow-ups with customers using the company database.
  • Balance multiple tasks with great organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Work closely with your team to share ideas, knowledge, and support each other.
  • Keep growing your skills through ongoing training and development.
  • Occasionally jump in to assist other teams with interesting tasks beyond your day-to-day work, keeping things fresh and varied.

What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administration-based role.
  • Excellent written communication skills — confident handling emails and written enquiries.
  • Strong IT skills and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
  • A calm, professional, and empathetic approach to dealing with customers.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
