JOB TITLE: Criminal Duty Solicitor                  
PQE REQUIRED: 3+      
LOCATION: South Yorkshire                 
SALARY: £50,000 DOE                    

THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will manage a varied criminal defence caseload, covering police station representation, Magistrates’ Court advocacy and full trial preparation. You will handle matters independently from inception to conclusion and undertake Duty Solicitor responsibilities as part of the role.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative team at a firm well known for its expertise and reputation in criminal defence.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applicants must be Duty Qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. You will have demonstrable experience managing your own caseload of criminal matters and conducting your own advocacy. Essential requirements include experience representing clients at both the Police Station and the Magistrates’ Court. You will be confident working independently, highly organised and committed to delivering high-quality representation to clients.
