THE ROLE:
In this role, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to a high-performing conveyancing team. Your duties will include preparing and proofreading legal documents, liaising with clients and third parties to support smooth transactions and managing diaries and appointments. You will handle full file administration from opening to completion, carry out Land Registry checks and property searches and assist with post-completion tasks such as SDLT submissions. You will also support billing and general file management to ensure matters progress efficiently from instruction to completion.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a conveyancing support role, with a solid working knowledge of the residential conveyancing process. They must demonstrate fast and accurate typing, excellent document preparation skills and strong organisational ability. The candidate will be confident, approachable and professional in all client interactions and comfortable using case management systems as well as Microsoft Office applications.
