Job Title - HGV 7.5t Weekend Driver
Location - Filton, Bristol
Salary: £15.86ph to £25.16ph

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 7.5t drivers to work out of their Mail Centre based in Filton, Bristol. We are looking for experienced drivers to support the operation on the busiest days (Fri-Mon).

As a 7.5T driver you will be delivering and collecting mail and parcels from Royal Mail mail centres, operating from well-organised depots, using clean, well-maintained vehicles.
This is a 7 day operation so we offer a variety of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

What you can expect:

Various start times between 0400 - 2300
Immediate starts available
Guaranteed daily hours
Shifts given 1 week in advance!

To be considered for this role you must:

Have a valid 7.5t licence and held for a minimum of 2 years with 180 days driving with tachograph card due to insurance purposes.
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card are essential.
No more than 5 penalty points on licence for minor endorsements (No DD/DR/IN/CD or TT endorsements are accepted)
Excellent geographical knowledge and a professional attitude.
Excellent knowledge of WTD and driver hours
Fully comfortable completing manual entries on your digital Tachograph card.
Due to the nature of our client's business, you will be required to clear a DBS security check following the point of registration.
Successful completion of site assessment and induction will be required before first shift.
