The Role

Exciting opportunity for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor with a leading construction and fit-out organisation. This role is perfect for a motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying and commercial management. Working alongside experienced quantity surveyors, you will be involved in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with cost estimation, budget preparation, and tender submissions
• Supporting the preparation of valuations, payments, and final accounts
• Assisting with procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintaining accurate project records and reports
• Learning to interpret drawings, contracts, and specifications
• Supporting senior team members in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget

About You 

• Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related subject (or due to graduate this year)
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn with a genuine interest in construction and quantity surveying
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills
• IT literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Full UK driving licence
