Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver 
Location: Doncaster 
Salary: £17.31 per hour (Guaranteed 9 hours per shift)

Pertemps are recruiting Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, a global market leader in logistics. Based in Doncaster, the role supports a nationwide home delivery operation for one of Britain’s largest retailers – providing the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses. 
Duties include: 

• Home delivery of furniture to retail customers 

• Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers 

• Supervising/helping to load and unload goods 

• Securing loads safely 

• Following traffic reports and adjusting routes if required 

• Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks 

Requirements: 

• Valid HGV Class 2 (HGV C) licence 

• No more than 6 points & free from serious endorsements (for insurance purposes) 

• Valid DIGI & CPC card 

• Smart appearance with excellent customer service skills 

Job Details: 

• Daily start times between 05:00 – 08:00 

• Accompanied by a Driver’s Mate 

• Multi-drop deliveries (handball required) 

• Customer-facing role 

Pay & Benefits: 

• £17.31 per hour (Monday–Sunday) 

• Guaranteed 9 hours pay per shift 

• Weekly pay via Pertemps
