Job Title: Press Shop Operative

Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Contract: Temp-to-Perm


 Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a long-established manufacturing company for a reliable and hardworking Press Shop Operative. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

 
Key Responsibilities: 

•  Operating press machines within a busy manufacturing environment
  
  

•  Loading and unloading materials and components
  
  

•  Performing basic quality checks on finished parts
  
  

•  Working to production targets and meeting deadlines
  
  

•  Maintaining a clean and safe working area
  
  

•  Reporting any defects or machine issues to the supervisor
  
  

•  Supporting general duties within the press shop as required
  
  

 

 
Skills & Experience Required: 

•  Previous experience in a press shop or manufacturing setting (preferred but not essential)
  
  

•  Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  
  

•  Good understanding of basic health and safety procedures
  
  

•  Strong attention to detail
  
  

•  Able to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

•  Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
