Working Hours: Day Shifts offering flexibility Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a hands-on Process Engineer – Press Operations to support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This role ensures compliance with DMUK and EU standards while driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating and Setting Up Presses: This includes loading raw materials, setting up tools and dies, and adjusting machine settings to achieve desired results. 
  • Checking Product Quality: Inspecting finished products for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications. 
  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Responding to breakdowns, diagnosing faults, and performing basic maintenance on the machinery. 
  • Following Production Plans: Adhering to production schedules and instructions to meet targets. 
  • Documentation: Maintaining performance logbooks and documenting any issues or changes. 
  • Safety: Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear. 
  • Working with Others: Liaising with team leaders, engineers, and other operators to ensure smooth operations. 
 
Skills & Experience:
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of press machinery, tooling, and materials. 
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems. 
  • Problem-solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to machine operation or product quality. 
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring that products meet quality standards. 
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management. 
  • Basic Math Skills: For calculations related to production and material usage.
  • Press Regulations trained  
  • Experience in press setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, process controls, and lean tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, mechanical, and communication skills.
  • Trained in press safety and regulations.
